SUMMARY:Schools’ Essay Writing Competition: "The Value of Water“
DESCRIPTION:The Federation of African Engineering Organisations is organising a Real Time Online Essay Writing Competition! \nCategory A – For All Engineering Students in African Universities – REGISTER\nCategory B – For Females in Senior Secondary Schools in Africa – REGISTER \nTHE PROGRAMME\nThe Competition will involve students from all African countries who are National members of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO). Each country will nominate 5 participants for the senior category and 5 participants for the Junior category to contend with other nominees from other countries.\nThe participants will be required to indicate their interest by submitting a 1 minute video stating their Name\, Country\, School \, Grade/year/level and a word on ‘the Value of Water’. The video should be submitted to faeo.wie@gmail.com on or before 5pm GMT on Monday 22nd March\, 2021 through their Country Coordinator ONLY\, to eliminate scam mails and non-delegates. Therefore\, the videos sent directly would be discarded.\nThe kick-off ceremony of the competition will be held virtually via zoom on 23rd March\, 2021 from 10am -12pm GMT where all the received videos will be played. The students will have a Career talk from the President of FAEO\, Ing. (Mrs) Carlien Bou-Chedid or her designate\, to inspire their choices in engineering and they will also be given the privilege to ask questions.\nThe actual essay writing competition will take place virtually on 25th March\, 2021 via zoom from 10am -12PM GMT and submission will be made immediately at the end of the allotted time. \n\nTweet
